"Maggie & Blue" Carlucci

These are our two greyhounds
, Maggie Mae and Blue Bart. We would like to thank the folks at A.A.G.I, Arizona Adopt a Greyhound, Inc. for the work they do rescuing these great pets. We participate in many events they sponsor like the annual picnic at Papago Park in Phoenix. We also march with the hounds in the Tempe Festival of Lights Parade at Christmas time.We adopted
Maggie in April 1997 shortly after we moved from the East Coast to Phoenix. As you can see, she is "The Prettiest Puppy Girl" in the whole world. Then we fell victim to the potato chip syndrome; we couldnt have just one. We adopted "B" in December that same year. He came all the way from Australia. "B" was a champion racer "down under". One of the kennels here bought him to stud. When he got here, they found out he was sterile. We already had our name in for a second dog, and then he came available for adoption. "B" is a blue greyhound, which is the rarest color. He is charcoal Grey with a white tuxedo front and white boots with a white tipped tail. He is of course our "Baby Boy."Whenever we have guests, they are amazed how sweet and gentle these large dogs are. They always comment how thin they are but we tell them, for Greyhounds they are pretty fat and very spoiled dogs
. Maggie is "Our Biscuit Queen" and "B man" is the most liverwurst loving dog on the planet. Maggie & "B" have brought us much love, laughter and joy with their antics.
